Hoboken, NJ - Tuesday, January 23rd, 2018
The City of Hoboken Department of Community Development will host a public hearing on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 6:30PM at the Hoboken City Hall Ground Floor Conference Room, 94 Washington Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030, regarding its Annual Action Plan for Program Year 2018 for the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. The City of Hoboken will gather public input on the content of the Annual Action Plan, which is created every year and assists the City of Hoboken in determining community needs. Public input will inform the City’s anticipated Annual Action Plan for Program Year 2018, which the City intends to submit to HUD for review and acceptance in May of 2018.
The estimated amount of funds for the 2018 Fiscal Year (July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019) from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the projects and programs contained in the Program Year 2018 Action Plan is $1,000,000.

The survey will be available until Monday, February 12, 2018.
The planning process to create the Annual Action Plan serves as the framework for a community-wide dialogue to identify housing, economic development, homeless and community development priorities. Priorities for funding were developed through the 2015-2019 Five-Year Consolidated Plan which targeted immediate needs in the community.
